How to Give the gift of money this Christmas
According to a recent survey by the robo-advisor Nutmeg, 34% of adults in the UK are now more open to gifting money rather than physical presents. After all,who doesn’t love receiving some crisp tenners in a Christmas card? It’s direct, it’s easy and you can do what you want with it, when you want.
The downside of cash, though, is that unless it’s invested, that value is short-lived. It can also be seen as vulgar to give cash to adults, although children and teenagers usually love it. It may be that some other methods are more acceptable, and some will enable your initial present to grow over time.
